-Gorgeous cover made by @Bloody--mascara Thank you, :) -- In the far reaches of an old country road, a little red house stands alone amongst fields of grass and wild flowers. This little house with its flaking red paint and old wooden porch make a picturesque backdrop for the two sisters, Hannah and Hailey Smith . The Smith sisters lived by themselves in the little red house, and surrounding fields, just as they always have. But one day, things change when a baby blue Jeep Cherokee pulls up their long, dusty drive. Who is the driver of the car? That name would belong to Jenna Martin, a city girl in most respects and married three times. She is the girls' cousin and complete opposite. She brings a surprise with her, one which would lead to turning the Smith girls' world upside down.

This is the story of Dave. A lonely, depressed member of a secluded country community. One day, his life is turned upside down and his reality becomes a hazed dream. Do you dare find out what happens? I was inspired to write this story by Blur's Country House. I wrote my own parody lyrics and then built characters and a world around it. It began as a spur of the moment story and then I decided to write it up and publish it on here. Please enjoy.

Jas' fantasy is Mr. Darcy, elegant balls, and amusing assemblies. So romantic. Jas' reality? Rory, boring work, and painting the hall. Not romantic ... at all. An accidental purchase of a lover's locket enables Jas to time travel back to its origins: the Regency era. Her excitement is short-lived, however, when she realizes she is not just an observer but is inhabiting the real lives of real, living people; people never mentioned in any of Jane Austen's novels; people whose lives are neither romantic nor elegant. So much for fantasy. Seeking romance in the Regency era seems like a hopeless case until, whilst unwittingly masquerading as the locket's recipient, Jas finally experiences the passion she has long fantasized about. Unfortunately, that love of a wealthy, passionate gentleman, although tempting, is not really hers to accept; she may only borrow it for a short while. Jas is faced with a choice which will affect not only her own future happiness, but also the happiness of those whose lives she has interfered with. And then there's the whole other problem of returning to her own, boring 21st century life once she has cleaned up the mess she has created. Travel back to the future is neither as easy nor immediate as the travel into times past. Join this modern-day Regency heroine on her humorous and heart-warming journey as she searches for her fantasy along the bumpy side-roads of Regency reality.
