This is the second installment of my prose renditions of famous country songs, based here on the classic "Ghost Riders in the Sky" originally done by Stan Jones and covered most famously by the Man in Black, Johnny Cash.

The classic tale of an outlaw, who's not such a bad guy at all, who is plagued by a past full of mistakes and shortcomings, who fails to overcome his dark past so he gives it all up to hitch a ride on an old train in hope of finding a better tomorrow in this song. The lyrics are a tribute to vintage country music songwriting. (Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, etc.)
