But at some point we do find ourselves accepting and respecting that it's what we needed but will add the things we want just it went on a different path in which we didn't have planned in our dreams. Though because of this, it can be hard to accept how our life has gone and sometimes find ourselves losing hope for the things we want because we even find ourselves losing sight of our true selves due to being all caught up with becoming all the expectations and standards in which society wants us to be and how to live our lives so that we can then be accepted by them, to be validated. But we shouldn't give them any right or the power to go down that road just to be validated and accepted, we should instead focus on all that we want to be as a human being, achieve all that we want with our life by creating that life. The best way to predict the future is to create it!

I'll just say quickly, these are poems I wrote, some years ago, some recently. You can probably tell where I am emotionaly and what frame of mind I am in. Like the title says, some are dark and others light, it would depend on my mood and what was going on around me. These are 100% from my life and things I went or are going through.
