In the midst of the invasion, imperial soldiers had been sent to search for the fabled Esters, mythical beings born from magic. For a millennia, the Esters possessed great power, so much so that mankind had the tendency to corrupt it for their own selfish desires. In their conquest for power, the War of the Magites took place. As centuries passed, the use of magic became history with the rise of technological advancements by crafting alternate resources: light, steam, oil and cryatal being the most prominent to power homes, household appliances and much more. In an era with great technology at their disposal, who would seek out for a glimpse of magic when the Empire is at its peak? The tales of magical creatures, divine powers, the mystics, the War of the Magites and the quest to find these entities were nothing but a mere legend. Is there anyone verily foolish enough to repeat that mistake?
