What happens when Batman fires Robin? Well, chaos of course! The team has always had regard for Robin. But after the failed simulation, their thoughts about him change. They ask Batman to fire Robin behind his back, and play out a situation to make it seem real. Devasted, Grayson runs away from the Manor, believing that Batman didn't want him anymore. He runs into Slade, who doesn't recognize him at first, but they come to terms with each other. He starts a new life with new possibilities. Robin is 14 when he is kidnapped by the League of Shadows, Deathstroke, and The Court of Owls. After two years of intensive training and torture, he escapes. Robin now knowing their plans decides not to return home in fear of endangering his friends if he were to be captured again. He spends the next three years forging the Circuit, the most covert and elite association of heroes on the planet. The Circuit is known as a fairytale, but what happens when the world is in need of this story to become a reality.
