Elizabeth had an accident that left her traumatized. The shock left her paralyzed from the waist down. The result also left her Agoraphobic which means fear of going outside. She lives in her brownstone house which was souped up by her family for wheelchair access. Her life turns flipside after one of her neighbors leaves and is replaced with a former marine with PTSD.

Rain falls in crosshatch across the lamp lit sky, splattering the asphalt ground with splashes of reflected light. I look at the sketchbook in my hand and trace the penciled rain and smudged glow. It was shit. I let to book fly onto the muddy grass and soak up the crosshatch.

White Coffin The clutch of the forklift was grinding as I attempted to lift the coffin from its resting place. The back end of the forklift lifted a little but as the full weight of the coffin engaged, I confidently nudged the throttle.. The coffin after several years underground looked dingy yellow dripping with water from the seams. I quieted my silly thought. Even with the disarray, it looked somehow solemn and dignified. .. urgency as I lifted the coffin even higher. ..coming home with me to Hawaii...the accident..., and the whole coffin came crashing down on me. I could hear the splitting of the coffin in real time but as I watched in horror.. I even noticed the nails flying across spinning as it moved across my face. The coffin opened as it came crashing down.There was nothing I could do. I was mesmerized...I helplessly... in a white light. I woke up with a jerk...it was a dream... with a “cold sweat”, but I knew this dream was like no other...I couldn’t explain myself, but I knew as it will be. ... open a restaurant business in Lahaina, we talked on a “Lydia, I asked her, can you tell me who is buried in a white coffin? “why?, I believe it was one of your family members. She paused ... but hurriedly said, "my brother is in a green coffin, and my father is in a brown coffin." I was so sure but when it was neither, the dream took on an ominous note and made me feel uneasy... Something is going to happen that I have no control . It will come to pass. As if to say, times up, fate calls the chips in with an urgent phone call midair over the Pacific Ocean. Lydia is being medivac to Manila for emergency operation. I barked, "no wait, don’t take her to ... You don’t understand don’t take her there, why are you arranging this without even consulting us? Don’t take her there, please. She is already en route. God damn it. God damn that dream. She came back in a white coffin.
