This book was not written out of bitterness, but out of clarity. For a long time, I believed that attention meant love-that being noticed, texted back sometimes, or kept close without commitment was enough to justify how much of myself I gave away. I mistook proximity for care, familiarity for intention, and silence for something I could fix if I just tried harder. These poems are about the years I spent waiting to be chosen by people who never planned to choose me. They are about lowering my standards, questioning my worth, and slowly losing pieces of myself in the hope that love could be earned through patience or self-sacrifice. They are also about the moment when that hope finally broke-and the truth stepped in. What I learned is simple, but it took me a long time to accept: when someone does not care about who you are, what you love, or what you have to say, they do not care about you. No amount of understanding, loyalty, or self-erasure can turn attention into love. This book is for anyone who has waited, excused, or endured because they thought being close was better than being alone. It is for those who confused longing with connection and felt guilty for wanting more. And it is for the version of myself who believed she had to change to be worthy of staying. Know that there is someone out there who will love you, don't settle. You're worthy to be loved fully and completely.

I saw a book that had this same concept and it only had 5 parts. Not to say that I'll be better but just in case yall get hooked like I did. I'm keeping the reader male and probably won't add any romance in there, I don't know. Not expecting much let's go.

Welcome to the country of Skaiye! Just like the rest of the world, it seems like you're in a Disney movie with the princesses and knights running rampant and the villains trying to take over the world. All that dramatic stuff. Usually, in Disney movies, its the male that kills the villain. Only this Disney world is slightly different. It looks like the modern world we live in does (with cars and computers and the such); apart from the fact that humanity has not really gotten used to the fact that this is the modern era. Which means no magic, no swordplay, and especially no dramatic evil villains kidnapping princesses. Another thing that sets it apart is that the females have no problem stabbing the villain. So Snow White, that's definitely what you should've done while you could. Diana Gardenia is the perfect princess. No flaws, no cracks in her loving, caring demeanor, and not a single clue on how to defend herself. In fact, she is rumored to be the stupidest noble alive. She doesn't even know how to lock a door. So that leaves her as prime bait for the villains in the fairy tales, and they use that to their advantage. She is taken away by the villains every time she gets back to her court. That's why the cowardly knight Caspian Mast decides to (finally) do a good deed. One day he decides to try and save Diana and finds her with a knife up to the villain's neck. Turns out that Ms. Goody Two-Shoes isn't that good at all.
