Imogen Fox, the personal assistant and wife-to-be of John Oakby, the Mayor of Fleckney Woulds, a small and peaceful county town, arrives at her office one rainy morning, only to find a corpse there - and her fiancé standing over it, his hands covered in blood. The victim turns out to be the husband of the woman everyone in Fleckney knows of. In the past she had been a part of several scandals involving the sons of the most wealthy and powerful families in the county, before she left for London in pursuit of a better life - and a richer husband. This isn't Imogen's first murder investigation, but it might yet prove to be the most challenging one. In order to catch the culprit Imogen will have to unearth the secrets of many of her dear friends, including the local police sergeant; the vicar; the husband of her closest friend who owns most of the property in the county; a famous military writer, residing in Fleckney - and unsurprisingly, the Mayor himself. Meanwhile, someone is breaking into people's gardens and ruins their lawn, digging for something. With only three months left until her wedding, Imogen has her hands full.

#1 in MYSTERY and HAUNTED. 1930s-style Dana Girls fanfiction - an eerie twin-towered castle of white stone on an ice-bound island on a frozen winter lake, a nearby English manor house haunted by a flute playing ghost who roams the halls at night accompanied by a wolf, and a mysterious kidnapped girl from the past all come together in one of the most thrilling Dana Girls cases ever! THE DANA GIRLS were a 1900s sister-series to NANCY DREW and THE HARDY BOYS from the same publishers and writers from the 1930s to the 1970s. This is a FANFICTION MYSTERY, written in the same style as the original Danas from the 1930s, and set in that era. There were 30 Dana Girls mystery stories written and published by the creators of the original Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys books in the 1930s - 1970s. This book is representative of the early volumes in the series. The Dana Girls have also appeared in some of the recent Nancy Drew graphic novels.

In My Attic, my success story on Wattpad, will be published on 1 July 2020, YAY!! My publisher, Literary Wanderlust, has kindly allowed me to keep the first draft on Wattpad. So, you can still read the original story for free. But the reworked version is AMAZING. Okay, I'm biased, but it really is. Literary Wanderlust was nominated one of 10 top indie presses in the US. They care about "well-written stories" and, as a result, I have not only edited the story, but run a complete re-load. As of 1 July, the novel will be available on Amazon but, but, but - you can get a sneak preview - in exchange for an honest Goodreads reviews. And Bloggers are MOST welcome. If you could even buy the novel once it is available, and leave me an Amazon review you would make me even more happy... Would you like to know more what's going on? Well, just check out this story.

Courtney finds a body in the park early in the morning just after completing her paper route. She calls her father, Calvin Connor, the local sheriff, from the home of Marjorie Wilson, a widow who lives across from the park entrance. Her father does not really believe his daughter's excited phone call until she starts crying - Courtney never cries. Courtney Connor is a precocious preteen who lives with her father, a single parent, in a small southern town. Much of Courtney's life is a mystery. We do not know (until disclosed in another book - although hinted at in this one) exactly what happened to her mother. Courtney is independent, adventuresome, and has a penchant for finding trouble. The title of the book comes from the impression the victim's mother, Mrs. Parker, has of her daughter's personality. She shares her sorrow about her daughter's death when Courtney sets up a "chance" meeting with both parents at a local motel when they come to Connor's Station to pick up the body). The meeting ends with Mr. Parker's foreboding statement, "If you ask me, she was in Connor's Station because of a man." Courtney and Mrs. Wilson decide the mystery if they can make a connection between Nancy Parker and a local resident. Courtney's father does not want her involved; it is, after all, a murder. However, Courtney subtly pursues the truth - a truth that will surprise everyone involved as well the reader. This novel introduces characters that play a role in Courtney's life and stories: Courtney's father, a rock of a man who Courtney is constantly trying to match with the few available single women in town; Courtney's boss and the local newspaper publisher, Mr. Gallagher; gossip columnist, Grace Glisson; Mr. Ferguson, the undertaker and funeral parlor owner; absent-minded Professor Finch; and Courtney's confidant and guide, Preacher Sherwood. Please comment and share. Thanks!

As her latest book, The Enigma of Her, is being devoured by the public, she begins to realize that the same people who helped propel her to fame-her ruthless publisher, the power-hungry CEO Charles Avery -might be playing a deadly game of manipulation, betrayal, and deceit.
