The story tells of Isendril, an Eldar on the Artist's Path who lives aboard the craftworld of Athel-Siar, which sails in the dark Ghoul Stars. In the midst of a dark period in his life, the call of Khaine will overwhelm him and turn his life upside down. To avoid harming others, he will be forced to take up the Warrior's Path, like one of the most enigmatic and disturbing warriors: the Warp Spiders.
