In 1989, when Y/n L/n finally scored a job as a "Playcare caretaker assistant" at the infamous toy company Playtime co., they made it their mission to make sure every child at Playtimes orphanage got the care they deserved before sending them out to the warm embrace of a new family. A year swept by like it were a mere few days, but to Y/n and the children they took care of, those days were filled with hours of building trust, joyous laughter, and fun. However, Y/n slowly started suspecting what the company was so determined to hide, which soon resulted in Leith Pierre firing them before they got too far. Ten years later, Y/n received a strange letter in front of their doorstep with disheveled handwriting saying: "Everyone thinks the staff disappeared 10 years ago. We're still here. Find the flower."

Y/N is an abandoned 14 year girl. Ever since her parents left her at Playtime Co when she was 7, She was having endless nightmares, lots of anxiety attacks, and she also struggled with PTSD. That reunited with Doey and the rest of the toys who were there for her when she was younger. But Prototype forced her to stop talking to them. Especially to Doey. Now it was all up to Y/N to find Doey and reunite with him because she missed him so much. Will she make that happen without the Prototype knowing? 🚫THIS IS NOT A SHIPPING STORY. Will she survive? or will she succumb to the horrors trapped within the walls of the laboratories. (There will be Dogday x reader later on, but it will be a minor pairing in the story)

Smiling Valley, the place where all go to peacefully relax after a successful week of working nonstop. Like that could ever happen, with the amount of crimes that usually happen in the area, especially the city. Of course, the Smiling Critters, a group of heroes with powers, are here to usually save the day and stop bad guys! Unusually, though, a new group has risen up, the members having powers of their own, making Dogday, the leader of the hero group, through the stress of having to stop them and their leader before lives are eventually taken. Meanwhile, inside the villain group, with the right hand man wanting a bigger influence on the members than the actual leader, Baba Chops eventually discovers a plan for one to go into early retirement; the rest dying out. Will Dogday and the Smiling Critters stop the evil the villains spread, or will they die trying? This is gonna be...somewhat mature. I'll write injuries, and about death, and a LITTLE BIT of graphic content like parental abuse, abuse in general, serious topics, and implications of snu snu. But no swearing(for some reason, I just hate writing swears). So, essentially, this will contain some graphic content, implications of snu snu, death, violence, abuse, parental neglect and abuse, and possibly other serious topics. I HIGHLY recommend you don't read this if any of this doesn't bode well for you. You do NOT have to read this, and as author, I say that if anyone dared you to read this, you do not have to follow that dare if you are uncomfortable with any of the topics listed. The list will get updated if I reach something new that can make people uncomfortable. No, I do not own the Smiling Critters, nor do I own the Nightmare Critters.
