Origami is beautiful, so many wonderful things can be made. This poem is accompanied by a beautiful piano piece, which inspired me to write this. Throughout I've included many references to real origami folds, try and spot them all!

Century Cranes

There were no doors or windows. Bird taxidermies hung on the walls, wings spread and heads to the sky. Birds of all species hung frozen in the moments before they took flight. Crane is the first work in a series of short stories. There is no set publication schedule for additional stories, but I will try to publish at least one per month. The font used on the cover is Blackout from the League of Movable Type.
