Mark's past relationship isn't something he likes to dwell on for too long, for a lot of reasons. If anyone asks why, he tells them that it ended badly, that he wasn't what she wanted. While that's true, he knows it has a lot more to do with how often he wakes up in a blind panic, how dirty he feels after thinking about her, and how she seems to haunt him years later. ----- Mark's dealing with the fallout of an abusive relationship, and doesn't understand why he still hurts after years of being away from her. Ethan and Amy try to help as best they can.

But Mark keeps pushing him away until Ethan finally leaves right in the middle of a bad storm.
