Planes are scary

Three groups of people at different times in Earth's future find themselves in dire, life-threatening situations. All of the situations have one mysterious thing in common: the presence of a massive white sphere, origin unknown.

Jane looked at her with a deadpan face that Tajana was sure Jane's father would be proud of. "Yeah, and what does this have to do with you being missing for a week?" Jane grumbled as she looked to the ceiling as if asking for the strength to deal with her friend's bullshit today. There was a chirp, and Nova was barreling Tajana into Jane, his skin flickering between a human peach and dark color. His eyes were still a neon yellow and had a slit pupil. "What is that!"
