warning! unsympathetic patton when remus first awoke in the darksides mindscape janus was the first that found him. after that remus would call him the dad of the darksides, every night janus would tell remus stories about his brother, king creativity and the lightsides, but he was never allowed to go there and he wasn't even allowed to see his brother, janus told him that patton didn't want roman to know there were two creativitys.

Janus Owens would do absolutely anything in his power for his little brother Virgil. The chances of a sixteen-year-old getting adopted weren't very large, when you throw in Janus's medical history, and the fact that he and Virgil are pretty much a package deal, the chances came down to pretty much zero. Virgil however... Sweet, kind, nine-year-old Virgil didn't suffer from any visible health issues (not like Janus who was all but covered in burn scars). Now he still had a chance. And the agency was more than aware of that. So when a great opportunity comes along that might just end with at least one of the Owen's brothers finding a home Janus is presented with their 'wonderful' and 'brilliant' decision that would in the end 'be better for everyone'. Virgil and Janus would be separated. Virgil would go on to be fostered by a family who was looking to adopt and Janus would remain in foster care until he too found a family (unlikely) or until he aged out. And after being presented with all of the information, and being assured he'd still be able to visit him he agreed. Oh what a mistake that turned out to be.

King Roman and his subjects were born with very special abilities. They can create and summon things with their minds. King Roman made all the land, the East, the South, and the North. But what about the West? One day Virgil sends a cry of help from the other side, the dark side. They must hurry, he might not make it.

I'll be putting any one-shots I write here! Suggestions are always welcome, but I can't always promise I'll end up writing yours. I'm hoping that this will give me the opportunity to write some things other than Broken Truth, and therefore help prevent writer's block or burnout. All characters in this will either be my renditions of the Sanders Sides, created by Thomas Sanders, or my own OCs. Please do not use any characters that aren't from Thomas' series, as they are my own characters.

Before the split, Thomas' Creativity, known as King Romulus, was strong, confident, and full of many ideas. After the split, the two sides created are lost and confused. The one called 'Roman' is taken in by Logan and Patton while the one called 'Remus' is taken in by Deceit and hangs out with Virgil when he comes along. The so called twins grew up never truly meeting, but they both feel the loss of the other. Due to this, they feel a pull towards each other, the unconscious desire to be whole again. So, when they begin meeting each other in secret, they feel on top of the world. But, they have to hide their closeness for fear of the others forcing them away from each other once again. ! TW: Death, Murder, Violence, and Grieving. The sides can die. Well, more like they can be murdered. They couldn't die of old age, sickness, or starvation, but pretty much any other method could kill them. When a side dies, a new side will form to replace them. These new sides have different personalities, names, and outfits, only keeping the title of their predecessor. Needless to say, with "object impermanence" no longer in effect, Remus had killed a few sides on accident. It all started when him and Roman were kids, and had gotten into a fight. Remus went too far, and lost his brother. No he swears to kill any and every replacement that forms in his place, hoping that eventually his brother will come back. [Takes place after DWIT]
