Virgil is seen as non gifted, but the truth is he has a power, an ancient power. he has the capability to summon, change and control spirits. spirits are the creatures of the shadow, always watching and protecting those who need it. they keep a balance of good and evil, what happens when that balance is broken.

Logan is well known in his school for seeming to be emotionless. He is called Robot because of this, the name given to him by the three kids that teased him the most. It's a new school year, and things seem to be looking up for Logan after becoming friends with the new kid, Patton. One day, he is approached by one of the more popular kids in school, Virgil, who tells him he would like to be friends. He's hesitant, as Virgil is one of the three kids to like to tease him, but Virgil pushes him to accept his invitation to hang out. Logan finally gives in, and as the two begin to spend more time together he gradually develops some feelings for Virgil. The question is, is Virgil being completely honest with Logan? Patton works in an animal shelter when he meets the Sanders Brothers. They adopt a dog and even though Roman takes very good care of him, he doesn't really know what to do. So Patton helps him and something happens between him and Logan. Logan end up confused and Patton is very emotional and totally in love. Roman wants to help, but doesn't know how. Until he gets a certain phone call from a certain person, who's just as desperate to help. Things don't go as planned and love blossoms between them. In the mean time Logan tries to sort out his feelings and Patton is just hugging dogs for dear life. Credits of the cover go to @ruijeonen!!
