You have no idea what is going on in my head

I was searching for what could never be found, It was nowhere outside of me. It was embedded inside of my heart, That one day I'll have realized I was looking in all the wrong places, I was searching high and low in other faces. But the soul I was seeking, Was my very own. My true love was on the inside to call home, One day it dawned on me through all my travels. The real journey began as my pain unraveled. The fog disappeared, As I recognized the reflection in the mirror. The girl noticed the woman staring back and lost all fear, That what she was longing for lived right here. Her perspective shifted and it all became clear, She was God and in unison with all. Suffering only happens if you let yourself fall, Just as the leaves changed and the seasons didn't stay long. She awakened to what was for her and let go of what was wrong, Things will come and go. Some will even help you grow, Sorrow stays only if you ask it. Live your authentic truth and never mask it, What belongs will find its way back. Trust that the universe will reveal your path, Nothing lasts forever. So enjoy life, And work on becoming better.
