The training room was dark today. Stepping inside the large sparring area, switching into infrared vision. The only highlights of heat were the built-in vents lining the walls. Anyway, welcome. If you're going to join me, try to steel yourself. My training partner is... a lot. Kishima had to have already been here, since it must've been him to turn on the vents. Checking what he set the heat to, I noticed pawprints running up the wall next to the thermostat. The pads were slightly elongated, and there were long stretches of space between them. I immediately tried to jump back from the wall, but I was too slow. My head was shoved against the wall, a blade stabbed into the plaster directly in front of my face. His necklace hung down right next to my head, my eyes finding the familiar shape of his rat pendant. Looking up, I could see him leaning over me, feet hooked into the wall. Kishima's ability to hang on completely smooth walls was mystifying to me, though I suppose being half rat would make that easier. Even staring directly at the nails digging into the wall to support himself, I still couldn't make sense of how he supported his body weight on the vertical surface. "Hi Tov! You wanna know what I learned yesterday?" This is Kishima. The things he's about to say are going to be something to process, I can guarantee, but you'll get used to him. "I found out why I'm actually fighting you, and if I'd known from the beginning, I'd have been much more direct.

TL;DR: Don't! Ver. 1 I know having two different titles will make this confusing 乁_[ツ]_ㄏ I would like to say I hate the way it's written to save my pride, but honestly, the amount of joy via nostalgia this gives me makes it impossible for me to dislike it. ֍----------------------------------۞-☬-۞----------------------------------֎ Uncontrollable powers. Not fun. Especially when you don't have a choice in whether you get them or not. Tov knows first-hand how annoying they can be. From altering her sight, body temperature, and, most importantly, her ability to choose between fight or flight. The worst part about this? She didn't ask for them. None of the "cool" things she can do now, like see in the infrared spectrum and poison people she cuts, were asked for. They weren't even given to her on purpose. As far as she knows, the person that gave them to her made a mistake.
