A "spooky" short story I wrote for my English class last year that I posted and then took down for reasons I can't remember. Enjoy!

Most people avoided the house at the edge of town. It's hard to pinpoint the exact reason. Maybe it's the overgrown yard, scattered with dead trees that sway without a breeze. Maybe it's the way the hairs on the back of your neck stick up, like the house is watching you. Or maybe it's how the creaking of the swing in the backyard sounds like it's yelling, screaming at you to leave before it's too late. The most likely reason is the little girl.

Ivy and Chase were seeking a life of thrill. Both of them together found a old, creepy house in the middle of the woods covered in poison oak, dark green thorny vines, moss, and surrounded by nothing but trees. In the house they come across an old, rusty typewriter. Why was the typewriter there? They keep it there the firs time around, things start happening to them mysteriously. So the next time they go they take it....What will happen to the curious teens?

This is going to be a short (Maybe long, depends how into it I get.) story for Holloween. It's also a request from my friend @queen_of_nowhere. You guys should check her out! Also, I'm creating this book with my friend @cara-bear. She's awesome too btw. Enjoy! Basically, the story was about a little girl that was an only child. Her mother died when she was born. Her father was an old drunk who beat her when she didn't do as he asked. One day, the little girl's father asked her to clean up the kitchen when he was super drunk, but the girl didn't want to, so she went up to her room and played with her prized doll. Her dad was infuriated by this, so he ripped the doll out of her hands and burned it. The girl was devastated and started crying. Her dad thought that her tantrum was so annoying he started to beat her. He got so carried away, he beat her to death. When he realized what he did, he threw the girl into the well in the backyard, so nobody else saw what happened. Until this day, you can still see the remains of her doll and if you as much as lay a hand on her, you will perish the same death the girl went through.
