Step inside Circus Circus, a neon drenched fever dream where the year 1999 stretched on forever in an eternal loop of artificial twilight. The air hung heavy with electric perfume of hot circuit boards, ozone and spilled cherry red soda that it baked into the threadbare carpets for decades. Overhead. Violent tubes of magenta and electric blue hissed and buzzed, casting long, bruised shadows across a labyrinth of dormant cabinets. Here, time didn't March forward. It stood in a perpetual standstill. And for Milo, standing alone in the humid dark before a nameless machine, the quarter was about to cost more than just a quarter.

She knows the stories, the rumors, the different versions of his past-and sometimes she finds herself wondering what it would be like to meet him. She knows he's fictional. At least, she thinks he is. A few months after the strange events that changed her life, Marie begins noticing things around her that shouldn't be possible. Strange noises. Unexplained messages. And a familiar figure appearing where he shouldn't be. Jeff the Killer. Marie thought she knew everything about the story. But what happens when the story starts knowing her? And what happens when Marie realizes that sometimes... the monster isn't the one you expected. "You read the story. You just didn't understand it. Don't confuse the story with the truth. You should've stopped reading. Sometimes monsters don't look like monsters... until you get to know them."

Hello wanderers! I'm The Storyteller Presents, and this is a unique short creepy story I created for all of you to enjoy. This particular story is presented through the eyes of a killer and shows how he sees and analyzes the world around him. We follow him and his mindset as he sets his eyes on a new innocent victim.
