The world of many who attended the Battle of Hogwarts ended in a field filled with flames and destruction, however, for Dennis Creevey his world didn't end in flames and destruction, but rather, his world ended with one look at his dead brother's body. Not only did Dennis lose a brother that night, he lost the only person in the world who could understand him, the only person who protected Dennis against the Snatchers while on the run, the only person to remind him what true love is. For Owen Cauldwell, his world ended way different than Dennis's, especially when his world took more than a look to break into the pieces that got lost on his way to freedom. Tortured and abused by Amycus Carrow for being a half-blood, Owen started to hate every thing of himself, especially when the Deputy Headmaster decided to torture the boy every night after finding out that he, unlike most boys, didn't like girls. His world didn't only break into the pieces that ended with most of Owen's self-confidence, it also took Owen's ability to talk. It didn't take a look to lose all of his happiness, it took one kick a day, one tear a day, one scream a day. Forced by their families to join the next year at Hogwarts with hopes that the place that started the endless cries of help during the night and the creation of the darkness that locked itself inside their hearts, will be the place to bring back the light that was taken from them so early on in life.
