People are going missing. When it comes to who will go next, all answers are mere speculations. Christmas break is meant to provide a distraction from the stress and exhaustion of schoolwork. However, this holiday break at the Perkins School for Self Improvement is turning out to be just as eventful as any other point in the school year. Creighton Hastings is, for the second year in a row, spending the holidays at the school. Like everyone else, the sixteen-year-old is looking for some semblance of peace and normalcy after the events of last semester. However, it seems that more death and destruction may be outlined on the holiday agenda. Creighton's visions paint a terrifying picture of the future, one in which complete and utter chaos may be unleashed. On top of it all, a strange new student has made an appearance at the Perkins School. Despite the fact that he's seemingly afraid of everything, the freshman genius seems to play a part in several of Creighton's recent visions, and he may prove less innocent than he seems.
