There are many tales of the hunger games...this is just one of them. This is Annie's story and of those who could not live to tell the tale.

A pregnant Katniss is reaped for the 74th hunger games. only, her 13 year old sister volunteered. Now she has to watch her sister and her baby daddy fight for their lives not sure who to root for. Will Peeta know that he's going to be a father in a few weeks? Or will he die without knowing?

Tell her that I love her, tell her that I need her, tell her that she's more than a one night stand. Katniss x Peeta.

We know about Katniss and Peeta's story and how they won the games. But what about the other Victors and their journey on become the Victors of the Hunger Games. This is Annie Cresta's Journey on becoming the winner of the 70th Hunger Games. I may think about doing another one in the future such as Finncik, Haymitch or I might even do a short story of Prim's ordeal throughout the Hunger Games. Depending on how well this one goes. This is all my own work apart from Finnick Odair and Annie Cresta and the base line for this story (the way she won the Hunger Games & how she became mad), that goes to Susan Collins. Please don't not use this and present it as your own. Thank you. I advise reading all three of the Hunger Games trilogy by Susan Collins, before starting this book because a few of the things that happen are explained in her books.

They didn't win the war. The Capitol stayed in control. We are still trapped in a prison we may never get out of. I forgave my father and mother, my brother never did. It's not their fault. Daddy almost died during the war. He's still here today. So is my mother. I live in the victor's village, District 4. I'm 15. I'm forced to put my name in the Reaping bowl every single year. Nightmares flood my mind every night. Nothing ever changes around here. Sitting by the water making a net or fishing with a trident. Going home and eating some sugar cubes. It's practically the same routine every day. Except for Reaping day, everyone's worst nightmare.

Annie Cresta was raised in District 4 by her brother Kai and occasionally her abusive father. This is her story.

"People of Panem, it is time to announce the circumstances for the 4th Quarter Quell." President Snow broadcasted. "As payment for the rebellion against the Capitol, we will be sending in past victors and their spouses, or if the victor has no spouse, their sibling will be sent in with them." He pauses for dramatic effect. "Along with the victors, their children, if they have any, will also be venturing to the Capitol, but not as contenders for the games. They will arrive as the Capitol's humble guests." At the end of his speech, President Snow grinned evilly, as if he enjoyed torturing the people of Panem. Then he turned, walked off of his balcony, and went into his mansion to plot the tributes' demise. Let the 100th Hunger Games begin, everyone.

Annie Cresta is a shy, though sharp tongued 17 year old who was reaped for the 70th Hunger Games. Finnick Odair is a confident and cocky 19 year old who won the 65th Hunger Games and now has the responsibility to mentor her. If it weren't for the games, they wouldn't have crossed paths. Was it a good thing that Annie was reaped, though?

We all know that Annie Cresta is the victor who went crazy inside the arena, and is the person that Finnick Odair loves the most. What is her story though? Who was she before the madness had consumed her?
