Finnick Odair has been dead for over a year... or so everyone thought. After recovering from the incident in the sewers, he's finally allowed to return to District Four, just in time for Christmas. He expects to find Annie waiting for him, and finds a very special Christmas present waiting for him back home.

Everyone knows of Finnick Odair, the heart throb of District 4. He is loved by everyone and no one can deny he is extremely handsome. He is perfectly attractive and that is only one of the reasons why I don't trust him. Ma always told me that the prettiest are the poorest and to stay away unless I want to be let down. But when Finnick came home after winning the Games and defying the odds, he was changed. He was no longer the perfect guy I was determined to stay away from but a scared boy with a facade that is eating everything good inside of him. But how can I piece a broken boy together when I am about to face the worst thing possible: The Hunger Games. Ps this is under editing and is not perfect at all, but I hope you enjoy none the less! My dad is Finnick Odair. Everybody thinks that's so cool because he's a hero but I just want my dad. I told my mom it made me really sad that I could never talk to him so she gave me journal and told me I should write to him, that he would be able to know what I'm saying. It doesn't make much sense to me but I guess I'll try anyway.
