The reader is part of the BAU Team based in Quantico, Virginia. They are the younger sibling of Penelope Garcia. The reader is not a Technical Analyst like Penelope, they are an agent working for the FBI. During training, the Reader meets Spencer Reid, a literal genius. They form a strong friendship. When they both land a job in the BAU, will their friendship turn into something more?

The aspiring journalist side of her wants to tell her friend's story to the world but Spencer Reid thinks that's stupid and a good way for her to get herself killed. This conflict, as well as other issues surrounding them-addiction, serial killers, hostage situations, families-brings them together but it could also tear them apart. Will they be able to figure out a balance, or will this be the Start and End?

Life always did whatever it could to kick people whilst they were down, for once things were looking up. Why would anything ever work out that way?
