Y/n decided to become a profiler after loosing his mother to what the police said suicide, however, he knew that wasn't true. The injustice to his mother convinced him to help others with events like this, wanting to bring people clarity. But in his perseverance, Y/n becomes distracted by a very intelligent brunette who makes him question every one of his morals.

Cat Adams is obsessed with Spencer Reid. The BAU wants nothing more than to be done with her and the tricks up her sleeve. What no one could ever know is that their fellow team member, Y/N Y/L/N, has fallen in love with her.

Her involvement with helping her secret agent best friend transition into her new identity for her own safety after a mission went wrong kept her alive. But now it's why she might die. Y/n isn't focused on that, what matters to her is that she has to burry her best friend under a tombstone with a fake name. The aspiring journalist side of her wants to tell her friend's story to the world but Spencer Reid thinks that's stupid and a good way for her to get herself killed. This conflict, as well as other issues surrounding them-addiction, serial killers, hostage situations, families-brings them together but it could also tear them apart. Will they be able to figure out a balance, or will this be the Start and End?
