Crown Princes Xie Lian; love of peace and Hua Cheng; vengeance of love. Emperors Xie Lian; vengeance of peace and Hua Cheng; love of vengeance. The stark transition carved the prologue and epilogue to this tale of love and vying.

was just reading TGCF again for the umpteenth time... and thinking about that scattered, almost-dissipted feral ghost that refused to leave this world *sigh* my heart. So this is Hua Cheng floating about for his beloved Dianxia

HuaLian are so darn precious... I know that scene where they rush into each other's arms at the end, when Hua Cheng returns a year after that fateful battle of Mt. Tonglu, required no words between them, the way MXTX wrote it.... It was perfect. But, but, I wondered what they would say to each other in the next moment, the moment after they had run into each other's arms. The three thousand lanterns in the sky... and so I wrote this little scene.
