The wolf world is in trouble. Rogues have joined to wipe out the packs. The survivors have run from the rogues. Enter Alpha Derain Templain, who has lost everything precious to him. Under the guidance of Derain, they head for the only safe piece of land to prepare for a final war. He leads them into the Ferox Eclipse Pack's territory, and is kidnapped. Rhea doesn't let them see her, knowing what they'll say, but as the rogues gain power, she knows it's time to meet him and gather the information needed for the war.
