    I wrote this in 7th grade, so there are a few cringey parts but I do think it's really good other wise. Also, there was a word limit so it's a fairly short read. This is a dystopian novel about genetically editing humans with a fair portion of romance in it. Also, the characters are loosely based of of Marie Lu's Legend characters, Day and June.     Vale Liddane's world is one where genetic modification is just an everyday miracle. It's not weird for babies to have their DNA genetically modified before they're born so they won't have mental illnesses, diabetes, cancers, or birth defects.
