They told us slavery ended. They told us freedom came. But everywhere you look, invisible chains still rule minds. From classrooms in Africa to lecture halls in Asia, from exams to career opportunities, English-the language of former colonial powers-decides who succeeds, who fails, and who is left behind. The Silent Rulers explores the global legacy of language, education, and power. It's a journey through history, culture, and identity, asking a bold question: if our freedom depends on mastering someone else's words, are we truly free? This is a book for thinkers, dreamers, and anyone ready to see the chains that bind us... and imagine breaking them.

What shapes the way we think, feel, and find meaning? In Mind, Brain Soul, explore psychology in its fullest sense: the mind that thinks, the brain that adapts, and the soul that seeks meaning. This collection of essays bridges research, theory, and practical insight, revealing how cognition, neuroscience, and holistic approaches come together to inform mental health and human flourishing. From understanding memory and emotion, to exploring neuroplasticity and stress, to uncovering what gives life purpose, these essays invite you to see psychology not as isolated parts, but as a whole system of mind, brain, and soul. Whether you are a student, a professional, or simply curious about the inner workings of human experience, this book offers clarity, depth, and a fresh perspective on how we can live more fully, think more clearly, and care for ourselves completely.

It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it. - Aristotle In a world of post truth politics, alternative facts, and fake news, there really are better and worse ways to think about things and that disagreement need not lead to incivility, hatred, or violence. e title of the book implies that some ideas are better than others. But what makes them better? Luckily, much of the hard work has already been done. Philosophers, mathematicians, logicians, scientists, writers, and many others have developed the Critical inking skills that allow all of us to make such valued distinctions. I have taken these skills, and distilled them into six steps. After learning these Six Steps, you will more e ectively communicate what it is you believe and why it is you believe it so that people will have an easier time understanding you. You will be empowered with the ability to better understand what people are saying and to know why it is they are saying it. Your thinking will become better as well because what emerges from your ability to understand and use these skills is an element of diplomacy and fairness when having discussions about important issues. And this leads directly to more civilized disagreement.

Most people don't know the difference between what the flesh wants and fullfilment of the soul. So they never reach their peak because their body's and their conscious percieve two different outcomes. This causes reality to dissolve and become a false memory and enough of these becomes an inescapable illusion.

The book is about an old man who is searching for a certain individual. His method of searching is through philosophical inquiry. Even though the book consists mostly of dialogue, it reads like any other novel, mixed with insightful conversations and allegorical scenarios. This novel is certain to be enjoyed by any age group and will encourage critical thinking, well that's the hope.

This is for anyone else like me who struggles with reading and studying their Bible. I figure if I give myself an audience, i might have a better chance sticking with it. In here I'll just be noting various things I've noticed on my own or that have been made clear to me by my Pastor or Youth Pastor. Please note that I use the KJV, so just be prepared for an older style of English. I AM NOT AN EXPERT! I make no such claims. I am willing to take suggestions for topics to cover, but I don't know all the answers. I'm willing to learn what I don't know, though, and I will share what I learn with anyone who's interested.
