With Kurtis presumed dead, and the fear of not knowing whether or not Karel survived, Lara travels back to England, only to find her home destroyed and her name tarnished. Lara has finally retrieved the Obscura Painting hidden beneath the foundations of the Louvre. But when she thinks she's finally going to escape Gunderson's men with her precious booty, an unexpected intruder will stand in her way. Old, very old stuff - as old as The Golden Seal, which this year that ends has turned 10 years of life. There was a time when I thought about writing a TRAOD novel, and I got to take some notes for it. One of those handwritten documents was the oneshot The Good In Him, as a prequel, and another was this brief oneshot I present now. It's nothing special, just a description of this unforgettable scene, but it contains my first impression about this sequence and about Kurtis, which wasn't quite positive. Later I gave him my heart and sold him my soul to this day. There is a chance to write a remastered version, with the sexual tension, the attraction at first sight and all those things that I didn't see at the first moment because the anger blinded me as much as Lara - or even more.
