Following on from the original Daryl's girl, a lot of things have changed in Lily's life. No one knows when or how the world will go back to the way it used to be. It's just a matter of waiting and surviving as long as possible. No one ever thought that killing would be the only option, but to protect the ones you love and care about, it's not just a case of wanting, it's needing to to keep them alive which Lily had come to know. With the help from those who care and a certain loving Redneck, will anyone survive? With the challenges already faced and more yet to come, will this be her breaking point or is everything too far gone...

Relinquishment of Ignorance

I pushed my legs to go faster, beginning to feel a burning sensation in my lungs. Eyes glued to the buildings, hand clutching my knife, I willed my body to not give up on me now. I was maybe 100 yards away. Just a couple more seconds. 75 yards. I can hear them. 50 yards. Breathe. 25 yards. I can make it, just hold on. 10 yards- shit! - Bridget Parker was never great with relationships- and that was before the world ended. Feeling alone and on her own, she has to fight her way through the world of the undead. Until she runs into into the people who will end up saving her. Among those people is Daryl Dixon, lone wolf and fighter. Will he be able to break through to Bridget? Or will Bridget's past follow the same pattern and haunt her again?

She doesn't realize it until she survived what should of killed her. This is also a slight avengers fan fiction with the characters and S.H.I.E.L.D in it. The avengers will be in it, however they will be slightly different from the movies and you should know why.
