This is a story on Feral and others called The Crossroads.

After disastrously mishandling a student uprising staged by the eight-year-olds in his class, an elementary school teacher is forced into rehabilitation by his superiors to earn his way back to work by the end of spring break. But while he is supposed to be attending counselling, reflecting on his poor performance and jumping through administrative hoops, he instead gets cajoled into touring through the deep south with his best friend's 80's cover band.

Alice and the other slayers go on a vacation to Crossroads. There, they meet four people, of whom they are very suspicious. Strange things always happen when they are around. Goblins trying to eat them along with zombies? Witches casting spells? People disappearing out of thin air who can take knives to the heart? The always have no clue what is happening, but they want to find out. But answers come with prices. Are they willing to pay? All credits to Gena Showalter, I own none of the characters. Two books involved, the WRC and the Intertwined series. Don't complain if you end up not liking the other characters.
