Six months after leaving Ketterdam, Inej has returned from hunting down slavers just to fall right back into trouble with her make shift crew of the best Dreg's the Barrel has to offer. DISCLAIMER The original characters are from Leigh Badugo's amazing novels Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom. There may be spoilers in this, so if you haven't finished the duology, BEWARE.

She had never anticipated that she would end up in the Barrel with nothing but danger and secrets. Those two years had been bliss for Veronika that she thought would last eternity following the Sun Summoner's victory and destruction of the fold. She had met and married the love of her life, ready to start a life when tragedy stuck once more. Following her husband's death and left with no choice barring selling all that she had to find work in Ketterdam at the one establishment willing to take her. The Crow Club. He had watched her for the last 2 weeks, the first of her employment, and Kaz couldn't find any information about the new bartender. All he knew was that she could be an asset to the heist. She needed the money, for an unknown reason, and would seemingly do anything. Thus the partnership between Veronika and the Crows began.

When Lilis was 14 she watched her family get murdered. Devastated by the destruction of her once perfect life, Lilis leaves her home. Desperate to get away from a place full of memories, Lilis travels far away, with the intention of getting as far from East Ravka as possible. Her plan gets ruined when she gets captured by Druskelle and placed on a slave boat. There, she meets Nina Zenik, a grisha Heartrender. Together they escape with the help of a fjerdan called Matthias. The trio meets Kaz Brekker and his crows and they band together to swipe a Sun Summoner.

At first glance you wouldn't think much of karma, she was the crow clubs bar maid, of course she was beautiful. always an easy going smile on her face, knowing exactly how to get tip. nobody would have known that under all the sweet scent of innocents sat a prodigy assassin, who knew way too much to be 16.

The crows get together and play a game of Ghezen's Roulette- "Own it all." Although Kaz almost always wins, Wylan gives him a run for his money, something Kaz hates to do. The other players have resorted to helping Wylan take the win. Inej finally gets to reunite with the rest of the crows after months at sea.

Three years came and went, and Ketterdam is gradually repairing itself from the damage caused by the infamous Kaz Brekker, also known as the bastard of the Barrel or Dirtyhands. Wylan Van Eck and Jesper Fahey are in a close relationship and living in a house that previously belonged to Jan Van Eck, a jailed mercher and Wylan's father. Nina Zenik is living an exciting life in Ravka with her fellow Grisha and Inej Ghafa lives a free life on her vessel, the Wraith, and hunts slavers. The five of these criminals' paths merged to bring havoc to Ketterdam and have since lead them in many different directions. Despite the recovering city's best efforts, something is brewing once again in Kerch that will bring these theives, thugs, and soldiers together once again. These characters do not belong to me, nor does the story, settings, and ideas presented. The front cover and any other art in this story are mine.
