He went to Kashi seeking peace. Instead, he found her. Amid the temple bells and the evening aarti, Major Aditya Singh Shekhawat saw a girl dressed in an ivory saree, completely lost in her prayers. For her, it was just another evening. For him, it became the beginning of everything. She never noticed him. He never forgot her. Some meetings are written by fate, and some names become prayers. Violet and Georgina have been inseparable ever since they met in 3rd grade. Although the pair are the complete opposite of each other, they seem to compliment one-another in different ways. Where Violet is quiet and timid, Georgina is loud and confident, Violet has brown hair, Georgina has blonde. Violet's never even kissed a boy, and Georgina... well, she's been around. The best friends fit together like a puzzle. So, when an incident at school has Georgina unconscious and possibly fighting for her 'rep', Violet jumps in and tries to save the day. From afar, Logan Ellis sees the scene and helps- but only for Violet's sake. Ever since then, Violet and Georgina's friendship has been a struggle... "Chicks before dicks" But does it apply when you're completely and totally in love with the guy?

This poem is a story about how society looks down on mental health. In times where someone is hurt, you cannot necessarily tell what they are experiencing. Author's Comments: Whatever someone is experiencing, whether it be from sorrow to the feelings of failure, always try to offer them a helping hand. You never know if you will be the reason that someone lives another day and becomes successful. As a society, we should do our best to erase this stigma around mental health. **SPOILER** - **POEM BREAKDOWN** The audience represents society and the antagonist is the protagonist's own thoughts and insecurities. The light in this represents hope; it represents life. Although the main character starts well-off in life, the main character ends up tripping and falling representing how life has its downfalls and the character is now faced with adversity that they need to conquer. The audience is a society that looks down on mental health. Typically, an audience will not help a performer because of "crowd mentality" or they think that is part of the act; leaving the performer to help themselves. The shadow represents the character chasing something in life, whether it is their lifelong ambitions, financial stability, or even romance. As the curtains close, the performer loses hope and is getting hurt over and over. The line, "As he struggles to find his clone" representing how he has lost himself to adversity and is trying to return to a state of peace; trying to find himself again. The lights shut off and he is left in the dark, alone. With no hope left. Society sits and watches him suffer embarrassment and hurt. In the end, the character gives up on trying anymore and ends up dying without anyone ever noticing.

This text consist of my unfettered translation where I put an emphasis on couching the core of the content, omitting insignificant details.
