6 years have passed since Cristina moved to Switzerland, where she had her own hospital, her own cardiology, her own life. Things went as planned and she had even won a Harper Avery. Her excellent career couldn't be any better and she was convinced, that accepting Burke's offer was the best decision she could have ever made. Her perfect life was suddenly interrupted by an incoming phone call, which forced her to return to Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital for a consultation for some days. But the situation unexpectedly changed within seconds, which made it impossible for her to fly back to Switzerland. Normally this wouldn't have been an extremely difficult situation, but she had a secret, nobody could find out or she was going to suffer the consequences..... Major Owen Hunt's life completely revolved around his job. He had been on three tours in Afghanistan, a trauma surgeon. She was the same way, hell bent on becoming the best Cardiothoracic surgeon in the world, with a few Harper Avery awards to follow suit. On the way to his forth, one thing led to another and he ended up in her care. She was a spitfire, much like himself. She changed his life, even only knowing her for a few hours. He had to come back to her, he had to survive just one more tour before he could find her, and maybe, just maybe, love her.

What if Cristina Yang hadn't left yet? What if she was there when Owen Hunt got the call about his sister? What if they get a surprise that will totally change their life? This book is set towards the end of Season 13 and a little bit of Season 10. It's been four years since Christina had Scarlet, and her career was taking off. She'd won her first Harper Avery, and was counting on winning more. Her life revolved around Scarlet and her job, and she was happy. But Owen was not. Feeling neglected, Owen begins to question Christina and in turn, Christina questions him. Heart break follows, along with a line of betrayal, hurt and pain. As if things couldn't be any worse, suddenly things take a very unexpected turn, and all Christina and Owen want to do is go back and fix everything. But they can't. Because that's just how it is.

Two years after Cristina left for Zurich, she comes back to Seattle, married to the very successful, Cole Turner (yes i stole the name from charmed because he's the loml) who makes her extremely happy. But when she reconnects with Owen her feelings get blurred. Does she love Cole or does she want Owen?

This story begins in the Season 13 finale of Grey's Anatomy. This is my take on the story if instead of it being the beginning of Jaggie, it will be the beginning of a Japril reunion. Story from then on will just be my ideas. ------- Dr. April Kepner is an attending trauma surgeon working at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital in Seattle, Washington. Along side her is her ex husband and the father of her child, Dr. Jackson Avery who is Head of Plastic Surgery. After an unimaginable situation, they lost their son from osteogenesis imperfecta, a disorder that causes a fetus' bones to break within the womb. The grief, and the different way they handled it, eventually drove them apart, ending their marriage. For a while, they lost sight of why they fell in love in the first place. When April finds out she's pregnant right before they divorce, she keeps it to herself, ultimately driving a wedge between her and Jackson. They eventually get on good terms and have a beautiful daughter, Harriet, together and co-parent her. Later, as orchestrated by his mother when he made a decision to see his father, April accompanied him and not only helped make a little girl speak again but also comforted him when he was disappointed with the father/son reunion. After celebrating their successful surgery, the two find themselves in bed again, a parallel to their first night together. Despite it being amazing, neither knows what it means and this causes them to grow distant again. However, when an explosion and roaring fire takes over the hospital, they both realize they can't live without one another. Embark on this journey where we pretend Japril got everything they deserved and more in Come Home!

There are a lot of three words they want to say to each other and know they feel for each other but there's always something holding them back. My story begins at S11E19 - Derek is missing, and doctors at GSMH have been told to prepare to treat plane-crash victims. All characters and settings have been borrowed from Shonda Rhimes, this specific story-line is my own creation.
