Little one shot fan fiction involving: Halt O'Carrick and Crowley Meratyn from Ranger's Apprentice, and my oc Cal O'Carrick.

Halt O'Carrick-grumpster supreme, son of Hades, Greek demigod. And his partner, the polar opposite of him, Crowley Meratyn. Bright, cheerful, Greek demigod and son of Apollo. When the two members of the IF(Intelligence Force, AKA Rangers) discover something that could threaten their world, what will they do?

This is Halt in the Ruins of Gorlan. Focus is on Halt, with some Will & Halt bonding, but more Halt & Gilan, Halt & Pauline and definitely more Halt & Crowley.

While Halt and Crowley are traveling home from Celtica they encounter an unlikely figure standing on the road, and are soon swept up into an adventure that neither of them expected.

This isn't much longer after book 10, The Emperor of Nihon-Ja by John Flanagan. A mysterious set of ten books have been sent to Will and his companions. Ranger's Apprentice, the stories of events that had happened to them. *Note: I don't own Ranger's Apprentice, they belong to John Flanagan. (If I did, Alyss wouldn't have died)

When Halt is captured one night and taken from Castle Araluen, he has no idea that it's a test. But things go badly wrong, very badly wrong, and neither can do anything to prevent anything getting worse. But it still gets worse.

Crowley is, insofar, my favorite character. Unfortunately, he's not mentioned often. So, I will write bits and pieces of his life here. Will contain AU's. Possible Crowley/Halt

Halt was banished, and that led to a lot of bad things beginning to happen, starting with Foldar, Crowley, Horace and Gilan.

Will and Co. are back with the second book, The Burning Bridge! Join them in their reaction as they read through Will, Horace and Evanlyn's adventure, as well as Halt's declining mood!

Will and Evalyn are kidnapped to Skandia, where they are separated and sold as slaves. However, this story is a bit different. Erak is already an Oberjarl and has recently established new laws to improve the lives of slaves. Despite this, the village Will ends up in doesn't seem to follow those laws. Will he survive until help arrives? Will help arrive at all? In the kingdom of Araluen, things are also not quite the same as we know them. Based on the 3rd and 4th books by John Flanagan, this is a completely reimagined story. Because why not? I don't own any rights to John Flanagan's novels, nor do I make any profit from them. I simply give free rein to my imagination and write whatever comes to mind, inspired by his works. You'll meet familiar characters from the books here, as well as some I've invented. The same goes for places. As mentioned, the action is set during the events of books 3 and 4 - but with a completely different twist. Enjoy reading. I hope you'll like it :-)
