What happened during the three days after Jesus was crucified? Each day focuses on a different set of Jesus' loved ones. The third day focuses on Jesus himself before the resurrection. A different perspective of the Easter story. This story is completely fiction.

She's his prize, his beautiful, flawless prize. She's his trophy, a girl he stole from the world. He holds her captive in the harsh shadows of the basement and tortures her. He loves her, charishes her every breath and lives off her every scream. Her pain feeds his bloodthirsty hunger. Ella Miller underestimated how fradgile her blissful life was. She threw it away on alcohol and wild parties. It comes crashing down around her when she's kidnapped and held prisinor by Rick, a quiet man that had stood in the background of her life, just watching. He tortures her while the outside world searches blindly. Her frail ray of hope may be the teenage boy sneaking her food and water behind the back of his violent father, her captor. To protect the girl he loves he must betray the only family he has and sacrifice his freedom.

In Bridgehampton, on the east end of Long Island, where he lives with his lover Jessica, Simon Foster is a sculptor of characters from Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland." He sculpts these characters life-size in wood, painting them in brightly-colored enamels and gold-leaf. Unable to pay his rent on time, Simon agrees to sculpt a large crucifix for his violent landlord Bruno and Bruno's butterfly-brained wife, Estelle, to be installed in the private chapel of their estate. Simon decides this work will be his masterpiece and as he works, he realizes the enormity of Christ's sacrifice on the cross and begins to experience this Earth as the holy place it is - the Garden of Eden in Genesis. He experiences strange spiritual situations, his soul becoming a less than permanent fixture in his own body. When Estelle is displeased by the slight smile of triumph Simon has carved upon Christ's face, Bruno demands it be removed or his threat invoked. Simon flees to Palm Beach, Florida, where he place the crucifix in a gallery and eventually begins to feel safe...

Love. Have we ever been in love, experienced the love of another? Have we been held in the arms of someone most beautiful, looking deep into their eyes and feeling so secure yet so free? We all are aware of the concept of love either through partners, family or friends. We all yearn for it in some regard but whether you have or haven't experienced a love similar to the way I opened, there is a love far greater than even that. Here's the thing, what if I told you this love was free for all, that you too could encounter it for yourself? I invite you to read my church sermon notes on the love of God, His grace and mercy and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ to save the sinner. You think you know love until you experience the boundless outpour of God, there truly is no greater thing. God bless.
