There was twelve of them. Among these twelve, two stood out. One was impatient. The other was calm. One was ignorant. The other a scholar. One was a fighter. The other a lover. One held misguided loyalty. The other held the knowledge that he was loved. Both fishermen. Both young. Both passionate. Both followers of the Messiah. So similar and yet so different. They would watch the world turn upside down in three days. They would watch the greatest plan in history play out. But their differences of personality would prove their biggest challenge.

How would it feel to be a follower of Jesus in his last days before his crucifixion? In this story, Mary Magdalene tells about her journey through the trial, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

He died in one of the most cruel method of punishment in his time. But his death changed the course of mankind. And it was of the most profound irony that his cross became the symbol of the power of the very people who put him to death.

Is Jesus's death truly the end? Why did the Jews prosecute the same person they named King only a few days earlier? Could there possibly be any meaning in his death?? Join Eric, as he tries to answers these questions in his first epic poem about the passion of the Chirst Jesus.

So, some years back, I wrote a brief story that was to be the introduction to a book that I lost interest in writing, but this little story inspired a whole collection of stories that have been now simply called, "The God Stories." So, here are a few of my favorites. There is a possibility that by early 2011 there will be a complete anthology of the God Stories, but for now, enjoy these few snippets!

For, if thou fly devoutly to the wounds and precious stigmas of Jesus, thou shalt feel great comfort in tribulation." This book details the visions of Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich, an Augustinian nun, concerning the horrific sufferings our Dear Lord Jesus Christ; revealing to us more information about the Life of Jesus Christ besides what we read of Him in the Bible. This includes: - the Last Supper, - the Agony in the Garden, - the Arrest, - the Scourging, - the Crowning of Thorns, - the Trial by Pontius Pilate, - the Carrying of the Cross, - the Crucifixion, - the Dying on the Cross - the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is available in the public domain. The only reason I have added it here is because it is easier to read. Hope this brings you closer to our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

This Good Friday, may we devote all our praise and affection and gratitude to the Savior who in His Love for us bore our sins and our pain. Jesus is Worthy of all Praise. ✝️ Please reflect on the depth and love of His Sacrifice as you read these words. I'm so so grateful for the Holy Spirit giving the words for this poem to me and writing this through me, the Truth and depth of Jesus' Sacrificial Love for us all is truly incredible, beyond understanding, and I'm honored to express it. The Lord is so gracious- He alone Saved me and now He's the One enabling me to praise Him through His Spirit. His Love is incredible. Jesus loves you, so so much, He loves us all. To be willing to bear all our pain for us. How Good and Merciful is He! "..Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness-by whose stripes you were healed." ~ 1 Peter 2:24 "Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed." ~ Isaiah 53:4-5 (Upon praying and reflecting, I have a feeling I'm called to write something more here. Perhaps a final line and maybe some others too. So tomorrow I will definitely pray more about this and spend time in God's Word and hopefully more words will be added soon! 😊) I hope you've had a blessed Good Friday full of worshipful praise.
