This story examines the physical and spiritual aspects of the Cross of Jesus.

Nathan, son of Jesse, lives in first century Jerusalem during the time of the Roman occupation. When the girl he loves is falsely accused and sentenced to a terrible fate, he swears to fight for her, to do anything he can to get her back, to wipe out the Romans single-handedly if he must. But he is soon to learn that one cannot take on the Roman empire... and win. Based loosely on the 1959 film Ben-Hur. In fanfiction ratings, rated T for violence.

This is a brief description of the pain of crucifixion, the character is not Christ but one of the thieves who hung with him. I neglected to include the conversations that the thief had with the other thief but I can include it if anyone is interested. (constructive critcism is always welcome)

Letting out a cry of anguish, she collapsed to the fertile soil, gripping her most definite loveliest gown, she let out a tear of great sorrow, and soon there was another tear, and then another, up until she could feels the sobs racking through her chest. Screeching at the top of her lungs, she could only think of one thing. He was dead, her brother was dead, Jesus was dead Christ was gone

Dear Journal, This crime incident really intrigued me, but in fact I’m not the only one bothered by this – there are innumerable people who are curious about what really happened. A lot of questions arose after this crime, they are long to be answered. Many just ignore them, but not me. Not a diligent investigator like me.

The crucifixion of Jesus Christ

It was an ordinary day where ordinary folk gathered to watch an ordinary execution of ordinary criminals. But there was nothing ordinary about one of the three men being executed on this day. Hanging from a cross, the prophet from Galilee seems helpless in the face of a death which crawls ever closer. But there's more to it than that. In the unseen realm, the powers of darkness make a final, desperate assault against a lone figure, a solitary and dying Hero Who will make the ultimate sacrifice to save an entire world--unless they can get to Him first!
