I have been looking for a lot of these with no luck. So I decided to try out writing and I am going to try and write from Cardans Point of view during parts of the cruel prince series! Hope you enjoy! :)

This fanfiction takes place in a period between the "Wicked King" and "Queen of Nothing" books by Holly Black (And so it should be known that all of the characters are hers). While we know what Jude was doing when spending her time in exile, no one really knows what Cardan, the person responsible for it, was doing. This story is my personal take on what could've transpired, including when he wrote letters to Jude, told from Cardan's very own point of view. I can't find enough fanfics and those I find are 1 part. Therefore I shall just try to make my own. Warning: I have no good experience with writing or relationships, aka, I'm single as fuck

Jude has been kidnapped by Queen Orlagh. As a result, Cardan is forced to truly be king for the first time. Without his Seneschal he finds himself lost, angered -and even scared. Scared of losing her. *The title alludes to one of Cardan's letters to Jude in the third book. Enjoy!! Charlotte finds herself in a messy situation as her grand father dies and her mother becomes the queen. becoming the crown princess of norway. as she never has been there and now suddenly becomes the crown princess out of now where.

Adrien and Avery live in a high profile world filled with luxury and expensive items. Avery is born into the bishop family a long standing wealthy family her father now works in entertainment but her grandfather worked in car manufacturing. They are one of the biggest and most influential families in their circle. Avery's brother Caleb is being groomed to become the new head of this business, while Avery's job is to be married off to expand the empire. This is where adrien comes in he was born into the Cadel family who are equally as wealthy however they do not have the long standing history like the bishops, that go back generations. The Cadel's only go back 2 generations so Adrian's father Arthur arranged an alliance with the Cadel's promising Adrien to Avery. Ok so the book is kind of arranged marriage trope. It also references books that I've read and the authors that wrote them such as the cruel prince, so folk of the air trilogy and the shatter me series. So it might have spoilers not major ones but little references to scenes in these books as Avery uses reading as an escape.

Jude told you her side of the story, now it's Cardan's turn. One shots from The Cruel Prince series told from Cardan's point of view, because I needed it. Spoilers, obviously, and angsty as hell most of the time.
