He was disowned by his family for being a reminder of an ancient curse of the family at age 7. He is then later on picked up by a mercenary and taught the tradecraft to live out on his own. This is a journey of self-discovery to understand that he may be cursed because of his family, but can be his own person with grit and determination to survive.
