Lizzy Kelly is the younger sister of the famous strike leader, Jack Kelly. It's her first day on the job of selling papes. When a horrific fire puts Jack unconscious in the hospital, it's up to Lizzy to lead the newsies, while she gets mixed up and falls in love with one of the boys. Can the only girl newsie stay strong, not only for the group, but for her brother?

Finch has been in the refuge for years, making friends where she can and trying to survive on little to no food and a beating almost every day. It's not the best 'home', you can't even really call it that, but at least she's not alone. However, when her best friend gets sick, she soon finds herself escaping the refuge to find medicine, making new friends, and joining a strike. Will she make it through this crazy new experience? [ I made the really bad cover btw and I don't own Newsies but my OCs and some of the plot in this story is mine. This story used to be called "A Finch Amongst Newsies" but that was a mouthful for me lol ]

Folks, we finally got our headline. "Newsies Crushed as Bulls Attack" Crutchie's calling me, Dumb crip's just too damn slow. Guys are fightin', bleedin' fallin' Captain Jack just wants to close his eyes and go. Crutchie is trapped in the refuge, being tortured by Snyder. Can Jack save him in time or will he be to damn slow.

It's been over 20 years since the strike. Luna and the rest of her friends have finally found peace. That is, until a fire rips through the suburbs, killing several people close to her. And the fire was no accident. Now, they must all join together to find the one who started to flames.

A JackCrutchie fanfiction. The boy curled into himself more, his skinny arms wrapping weakly around his scraped knees. Jack readjusted his position so he sat down crossed legged in front of the boy. "I's only tryin' ta help ya here, kid, but 'cha ain't givin' me much ta work with." "Charlie." Came a quiet replay. The boy's voice was so small and hoarse that Jack didn't hear what he said. "What was t'at?" "Youse ask ma name. I's Charlie." The Boy -Charlie- repeated. His voice was scratchy, Jack could tell just from that, that the boy hadn't had anything to drink in a while. "Well, what do ya know? Youse can speak," Jack joked. Charlie gave him a weak smile, he seemed less tense, and had long since stopped cowering away. "Nice ta meet cha, Charlie."
