Being Spot Conlon's little sister isn't easy. Never being allowed to fight. Being followed everywhere by Spot's little boids. Did I mention he's a bit over protective? There is one good thing about my life though. When ever I get the chance, I'll sneak out of Brooklyn and go to Manhattan. I love it there! I'll hang with my friends and help them sell papes. Plus, that's where the boy I like is. His name is Crutchy.The thing is I have no idea if he likes me back. And if Spot ever found out I liked a boy, he'd end up dead at the bottom of the East River.

To them I am little Ruff well Ruffian, the hard working, early rising, boy. Lemme tell ya from first-hand expedience, being a newsie is hard, but being a girl newsie, living with boys who think she is a boy is a million times harder.

It's been over a year since the strike has settled and the newsies haven't had any problems with Pulitzer since. But that's not to say that they didn't all have problems outside of work. Jack and Katherine were unhappy together. They didn't feel the love towards each other that they used to feel. Yet they were too scared to say something to one another. Crutchie wanted for his long-time crush to love him back, although he knew that would never happen. Still, one could dream. Davey and Les's father had been severely injured by an incident at work. He wasn't so lucky this time around and passed away due to blood loss. This drove their mother into a state of insanity, forcing Davey and Les to pack up their things and leave. They now live on the streets with their fellow newsies, struggling to support themselves just like every other newsie. Their lives were still pretty crappy and hopeless, but hey, they were still alive and that was what mattered. Then, a new kid shows up at the gates of The World and sends their lives into chaos once more.

Spot, Albert, Race and Elmer live happily together. They're all boyfriends. What happens if one of them isn't happy. This story involves depression and panic attacks and some more. If you are easily triggered please do not read. Not everything will be correct, but I write stuff like I feel it or how I think people feel. And my people skills are rusty so some things will not be as a person would react, but yeah what should I know about that. If you are from America please tell me: do you put bacon in you pancakes? The sequel to The Disgraced Newsie. A few months after Jack and Crutchie left for Santa Fe, Jack decided to go back to New York to visit Davey and his family, but runs into a few familiar faces he never wanted to see again. Will Jack ever come back to New York or will he stay in Santa Fe?

After the Newsboy strike of 1899, the Newsie's lives became happier. Jack Kelly went from Newsie to Artist. Kathrine went from writing Vaudeville and for the flower shows, to hard news. Davey and Les went back to school, but sold papers on Weekends. As for Crutchie, he was about the same as before. He still couldn't walk without his crutch, yet. The year that much changes is 1901.
