Sometimes, when they're feeling brave, the newsies will talk about the Refuge. Almost everyone has a story to share, and none of them are very happy. One such night was September 7, 1899, not long after the strike. The evening at the Newsboys' Lodging House started out normally enough, or, in other words: total chaos.

A collection of Newsies (1992) imagines starring Jack Kelly, David Jacobs, Racetrack Higgins, Spot Conlon, Kid Blink, Mush Meyers, Crutchie Morris, Skittery, and Bumlets.

Josephine, or Jo Kelly is the younger sister of Jack Kelly. After the two siblings escaped their home, they found themselves at the Newsies Lodging House. Few years later, after the pay for the papes had been raised, Jack and Jo decided to step up and do something. Problem is, no one else will help unless Brooklyn is in. Another problem, Spot Conlon proves to be more stubborn then they all originally thought. So one night, without her brother knowing, Jo sneaks out to try and convince Spot to join the strike. - - - I only own Josephine Kelly

Ok so, I'm absolutely obsessed with Newsies and I've always had a MASSIVE crush on Crutchie. This is just something that popped into my head a while back. Many people have heard of Jack Kelly. The fearless leader of the Manhatten Newsies that made all the papes after escaping the Refuge, a jail for underage kids. What many people don't know about is his little sister. Summer Kelly is a fiesty young lady who wants nothing more than to see the world. What happens when a young boy with no name and a crutch steps into the picture? With a new family by her side and a haunting past keeping her awake at night, Summer prepares for the biggest adventure of her life I'm sorry, I suck at descriptions and I'm not a very good writer but I hope you enjoy! (Please don't get mad at me when you find out how much it sucks, this is my first story ??)

A Newsies Hamilton AU

Davey Jacobs was the new kid. And boy, did he hate being the new kid. His whole life, Davey had gone to private school but now, since his father hurt his leg at work, he had to go to a public school. A public school, where he would have no friends. That is, until he meets Jack Kelly and his group of friends, dubbed the 'Newsies' due to their work selling the school newspaper and working on the school news team. Suddenly, Davey isn't so lonely anymore.

I decided I would try my hand at writing the history and "future" of Jack and Crutchie, if they had ended up together, unlike the script states. **Please read the first "chapter" for my author's notes. This is based on the MUSICAL. Not the 1992 movie. (Obviously MANY characters will appear, however, it asks to only list main characters)
