Alise Cruthers gets a job on the Island as a Paleo-Veterinarian Assistant and she catches the eye of the obscure Owen Grady. After he insults her intelligence, she's able to hold her own and prove him wrong. He admires that and offers to buy her a drink. They both fall for each other hard, but Owen's hiding something that gets in the way of their happiness.
