Emotions (like love, sadness, anger) are seen as dangerous, so everyone gets an AI robot friend to control their feelings. But Liora, a smart scientist, still feels everything. She hides her emotions from the world. One day, she gets a job to wake up a sleeping soldier who was frozen many years ago. His name is Riven. When he wakes up, he looks straight at her and says: "You came back..." But Liora never met him before.
