♫ She was a girl, he was a crow, can I make it any more obvious ♫ Deep in the woods of Appalachia, the creatures of folklore make their nests. Only, sometimes those creatures step out from the shadowed canopies of their homes in search of something mortal, something... human. Cassy Williams, an unsuspecting cashier worker, finds herself bound in a pact with one of these creatures more complicated than the simple barters she's used to with her murder of crows. It will be a long and winding road for her to untangle the deal she's wrought, but will she even find that it's worth it?
