Homeworld is thriving and the gem empire is expanding rapidly. Both Black and White struggle to deal with their new found emotions and with no experience of these feelings and no one to turn to for assistance they have to contain what they think to be defects as they know no better. This is the story of how the first two Diamonds to be created, White and Black, grow closer through life, death, love, birth and, eventually, peace on Homeworld. Thousand of years ago, during the gem war, the diamonds are left with no choice but to bring rise to a geo-weapon that was created to eradicate planets in order to erase the trace of the Crystal Gem rebellion, but can a being created to only follow orders actually grow to become an autonomous being and actually learn to feel instead of destroy?

Garnet, Pearl and Amethyst found a small baby in a dark alley in the middle of the night. This baby had a gem on the inside of her left hand and a small tattoo on her right that says "Human". This baby girl was used for experiments. She is two years older than Steven and has a green (Emerald) Gem. And her name is Alexander Crystal Gem or just Alex. "Welcome to the family Alexandra Crystal Gem," Garnet said holding her in her arms.

She stowed away on Peridot's ship to see the world she came from. She has grown some and changed alot since she had last been at her home, but she can't help but see a familiar face and fall in love with someone she just met when she comes back. She doesn't try to live in the past but she doesn't want to live without those who use to be in it.
