(This is based off of the book Upon wings of change. Go read it! It's amazing. I own some of the ideas and most of the characters. Well all of them...)

*Unfinished* Noelle didn't ever want to harm anyone. Despite basically living her whole life in a dojo, she's pretty open to ideas and despises picking fights. Until one day, she is kidnapped from her own home, and (apparently) sent to Area 51. Most "Upon Wings of Change" readers will by now think, "Oh! She's going to wake up in the lab!" But Noelle is a different story. She hatches directly after the rest of the dragonets have escaped the lab, and, with her new dragonet friend, Scarlet, is lost in this new world of white aliens and (eventually) Kymari. Will she ever reunite with the rest of her kind? Or will her flights of fantasy stay just as they are, a work of fiction? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- This story was inspired by "Upon Wings Of Change," which was written by @CrystalScherer. All details about this world and the creatures living in it are all Crystal Scherer's ideas. However, the plot and (most of) the characters belong to me.

"Quick,over here!",Jay shouted over the sound of flying bullets. I positioned an unconscious Jeff in my arms, which was hard considering his bulkier frame, and chucked him towards Jay. Thankfully, none of the bullets hit him, which was good. I braced myself before sprinting and leaping behind the fallen log. I landed roughly next to Jeff and felt a slight pain on my arm. A small cut was visible on my upper right arm. It seemed like a bullet had grazed over it and pierced the skin a bit. I didn't pay much attention to it due to its insignificance compared to Jeff's wounds. A large gash was present across Jeff's forehead and blood was currently seeping through it. He had obtained it during our earlier scouting run. I took out my walkie talkie and turned it on. "This is Alpha 23 requesting backup and immediate medical assistance. Jeff has been severely injured. Over." A voice crackled through the static,"This is Gamma 46, Alpha 23. We are sending Zach and Jake your way now. Over." "Copy that, Gamma 46. Alpha 23 out.",I said before clipping the walkie talkie back on my belt. I glanced at Jeff and whispered softly,"Don't worry Jeff, help's on the way." ~•~ This story is the sequel to The Infected [1]. I remember the day I first heard of them. I was driving my van with my mother in the passenger seat. The news channel was playing over the radio. The current story was suddenly cut off and a man's voice crackled over the speakers: "We interrupt this program to bring you breaking news," He began. "A new disease is spreading rapidly all over the world and infecting humans. Nobody is sure what it is; but we know one thing, It was stolen." A new voice came over the radio. "Hello, citizens of California! I'm here with Nicole Bradson, the leading researcher in Virus Studies at Baily University." The man said. "Would you like to tell us about this strange new epidemic?" A panicked-sounding voice came from the woman, she was clearly not pleased. "All I can tell you is to run. This virus was stolen from our laboratory. It was locked up for a very good reason. It is highly contagious and spreads through bodily fluids. You need to run from it. If it's too late to run, lock yourself somewhere safe until rescue teams can find you and escort you to safety. Do not panic." The man with the news crew interrupted her with questions. "Run from what, exactly? What should we perceive as a threat?" The woman paused for a moment as if thinking. "Do not attempt to approach anyone with red eyes. They are infected with the virus." Her voice trembled.
