After being homeschooled her whole life, Emma Swan, 17, finally goes to a public school for senior year. Since she's never been to a public school, she has a difficult time. Killian Jones, also 17, has been attending school in Storybrooke his whole life. He knows everything about the school, inside and out. After seeing that Emma is struggling, Killian offers to help. But being told that Killian is bad news, Emma turns down his offer. A few weeks later, Emma continues to get bullied for her cluelessness of what happens at a school, so she finally accepts Killian's offer. Killian and Emma meet everyday after school for their 'lessons.' Eventually, they get along and Emma realizes that Killian isn't nearly as bad as people say.

This is something I started a LONG time ago-like during the hiatus between seasons 3 and 4 when CS just became official and I was obsessing. I then left it in my notes unfinished and never shared it with anyone. Recently I found it and finished it, and it's kinda funny reading it now, because a lot has changed. But to put this in perspective, this takes place in the S3 finale, between the moment Emma and Hook kissed outside of Granny's, and the moment Regina walks in and all that stuff with Marian and Robin goes down. Because watching that, I couldn't help but wonder what must have happened after that kiss. Did they just stand up like lol that was fun, let's go back in now? And where was Marian all that time anyway? So that's why I wrote this, to fill in the blanks. I hope you like it. And if anyone thinks of a better name that "captain swan one shot," please let me know. :) -Jenny

The year is 1945. While the war over seas has ended there is a war raging in Boston. A war between two families. Two families who have been at each other's throats for years. The two families are the Jones' and the Nolan's. When a truce is called the two families meet and there seems to be a spark between Emma Nolan and Killian Jones. Emma and Killian were your typical high school love story, they were best friends who fell in love when they were younger, they were together, everyone thought it would be forever. Until he left. But now it's been 10 years, and they're reunited at a party of mutual friends. Will sparks fly the second time around? Or will the two just continue to be each other's "ones who got away"? This short fanfic was inspired by the rumour going around that Killian might loose his memories of Emma and Emma will have to fight for him. So here's my version of what I think could happen. I hope you like it and tell me what you think!
