A descriptive version of the amazing tale of Old Man Henderson from Call of Cthulhu legend. Old Man Henderson goes on an epic quest against cultists in order to regain his lawn gnomes. Action, adventure, and a whole lot of death are all in a day's work for Old Man Henderson. (Note: I am not the original author of this character. All creation credit goes to Waffle House Millionaire and A Self Called Nowhere on 4chan. I have only embellished it and added detail.)

The world has been devastated by a plague known as Psychosis. Humans afflicted wander in a state of perpetual meaninglessness. Follow as the main character finds himself trapped by two of these beings, in his car, in the middle of Washington. With his sunglasses being the only thing keeping him from catching this deadly virus and falling into oblivion they must travel South through dangerous cities, crazy cultists and long forgotten memories to a safe haven they believe is located in central California. A protected tower that may have the key to unlocking the mystery of the Psychosis. "Time to leave again. Sometimes I wonder if I'm any different than them; always moving from one place to another always... searching? Nobody knows quite what they do. Sometimes they eat, depends on the person. Sometimes they go to the mall. Sometimes they just stare off into the sun until they erode into dust."

This is a rewrite of a similar story I made when I was around 11 - 12 that's story was called 99 Reasons And A Ghost. I renewed the entire premise - but this has always stuck out to me, the idea of rewriting this and what potential the story could've had, and so Im working on this now. A Disordered Belief is about a teenager named Emma with her strange mother named Mary, who are both in this religion called The Order that's actually a secret cult. Something happens on her 14th birthday that she doesn't quite remember as shes now away from the tiny world she knows, and is now trying to remember what exactly happened on that fateful day, while uncovering the secrets, the controversy and the truth behind her entire life. Will she accept reality or continue to stay in her Disordered Belief? That's the basis of the story.
