endwell
Catherine has never been in love before, but now that she's fallen, she's fallen hard. Of course, she has no idea how to win over her crush, and her own nerves are making it extremely difficult not to screw up. Fortunately, other forces are also conspiring for the lovers to be together... forever.
A humorous love story or a romantic humor story or something that is neither of those two, "Star-Crossed Cultists" is a study in hilarious failures, dangerous occult beings beyond the scope of human comprehension, and the power of love.
A completed work.
Note: At the time I wrote this, I was not aware that the death of gay women was a common trope in media with a number of unfortunate implications (e.g., that gay women don't deserve to find happiness and live). Please be warned before reading this story. (To be clear up front - it is not truly a romance. It was intended to be surrealist comedy that happened to have lesbians, but I ended up playing into a problematic and weirdly common trope. I'm sorry about this.)
