💌Unexpected Flatmates: घर से दूर... अपनों के बीच 🌧️☕📚 22-year-old Pari Malhotra thought her biggest problem would be surviving an MBA exchange semester in Amsterdam. But when she finally reaches the university, a massive housing blunder turns her entire plan upside down. Instead of the peaceful girls' accommodation she was promised, Pari finds herself sharing an apartment with three completely different boys...Luca, Ethan, and Aryan. One Indian vegetarian girl. Three completely different boys. One tiny apartment overlooking a rainy canal. Luca barely talks. Ethan talks too much. Aryan looks like he's hiding a whole past behind those blue eyes. Pari has strict rules...no shoes inside, no alcohol around her food, and absolutely no unnecessary drama. Unfortunately, her new roommates seem to be made of nothing except unnecessary drama. Between culture shocks, midnight arguments, burnt theplas, Amsterdam rain, and hearts that slowly stop feeling like strangers, Pari is about to discover that sometimes the farthest place from home becomes the place that changes you forever. "Sometimes the scariest journeys begin with a one-way ticket... and the people you were warned to avoid." °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° •Author's Note - This is an original work of fiction written by ShunyaOmShesh(शून्यॐशेष). Sixteen-year-old Amélie Fontaine has lost everything. After both of her parents die, she is sent across the ocean to America, where she is taken in by her mother's older sister, Margaret Lankford. But life on the Lankford farm is nothing like the life Amelie left behind. Margaret is strict, the countryside is unfamiliar, and the people living beyond the woods are everything she has been warned to stay away from. Rain Nakoa is the leader of his people, living with his family on land not far from the Lankford farm. Between the two families lies a stretch of unclaimed land, belonging to neither of them. It is there that Amélie meets Wolf. For her whole life, she has been taught to fear people like him, and he has been taught to be wary of people like her. But as their lives become tangled together, the land between their homes begins to feel smaller and smaller. Because sometimes the greatest distance between two people isn't measured in miles. It's measured in their beliefs. ... Hi everyone! Now that the days of yokai fighting, Armageddon evasion, and the pandemic have subsided, what is left for Team Urameshi to do? Try living normal lives. Kuwabara is doing his part as a university student, Yusuke is involved in supernatural freelance work under the guise of a noodle stand, and Kurama is involved in the family business and...dating? Huh? Ikeda Kiyoni has many labels associated with her name. Biracial, Bi-cultural, Bi-curious[?], and now that she's back in Japan after a decade-long stint in another country, she can add "Kikokushijo" or "Returned Child" to that list. However, those come second to the "caretaker" label given to her on her grandmother's behalf. Time is running out for Grandmother Ikeda and if Kiyoni doesn't find a cure soon, she could kiss both grandma and her ties to Japan a heartbreaking "sayonara". So how complicated could things be when a bloodsucking, alien nightcrawler with an unknown disease enters the chat especially when border control officer Hiei is taken down? Foreign relations between humans is edgy enough. Could the same can be said for yokai? Only time will tell.

I WAS NOT ME ANYMORE Silence can protect you. But it can also slowly erase you. Mawar never imagined that love would lead her into a life where her voice no longer belonged to her. Leaving Indonesia behind, she steps into a new world, a Pakistani joint family bound by tradition, expectation, and unspoken rules. At first, it feels like warmth, like belonging. But over time, that warmth begins to suffocate. Her role as a mother is questioned. Her identity slowly fades. And the silence she once chose for peace becomes a prison she cannot escape. When the cracks begin to show, they don't just break her, they reach her children. One daughter withdraws into a world of fear and quiet pain. Another learns to survive through anger and violence. And Mawar is left with a question no mother should ever have to face: How do you protect your children... when the danger lives inside the family? In a story of love, betrayal, culture, and survival, I Was Not Me Anymore is a deeply personal journey of a woman who must decide between keeping the peace... or saving herself and her children. Because sometimes, walking away is not weakness. Sometimes, it is the only way to survive.

Sequel to Volcano Rock's Worst Kept Secret, an AU in which Barb is half pop troll. Also posted on AO3. Warnings will be put in each chapter as needed. ---- "I mean think about it, you go running over to Pop Forest every chance you get, for what? Warm fuzzies, a couple hugs? Doesn't sound like things any Rock Troll would care about. You sure seem to though. You love every last bit of it, don't you? Face it, you go there because you feel like you belong." The other paused, gaze turning sharp and demanding. "Do you want that? Do you want to belong there?" Did she? -- Or -- Barb gets along great with Poppy, Branch and The Snack Pack. This leads to a lot of conflicting feelings, and pokes open some old wounds.
