In the year 2008, intergalactic explorer Krik from planet Akern 97B was on a routine cosmic survey when one tiny miscalculation just a decimal point, really sent his ship hurtling into the most bizarre, primitive world in the galaxy: Earth. Crash-landing in the middle of an abandoned Texas ranch, Krik quickly discovers that the strangest lifeforms on the planet aren't the cows... but the humans. Armed with his malfunctioning translator, an unreliable disguise generator, and zero understanding of "barbecue," Krik sets out to study the locals up close-by becoming one of them.
